Amanda Seyfried told reporters in London last week that she's a big fan of taxidermy.Amanda Seyfried spends much of her time in "Red Riding Hood" dealing with a mysterious wolf, but it's dogs and horses that have caught her eye in real life.
The actress, who has an Australian shepherd named Finn, recently decided to add another animal to her family: a dead horse.
Seyfried, explaining the purchase, told the UK's Daily Express that she's a fan of "good taxidermy."
"It's like art," she said. "A lot of people think it's weird but I don't know why."
The 25-year-old star provided a few more details to The Press Association about her new pet/house decoration.

"It was 3 weeks old when it died," Seyfried said, calling the horse "miniature."
Antoine, as she reportedly named it, is in fact so small, she "can carry it."
"It's being shipped to L.A. as we speak," she revealed. "And it's going to be Finn's new best friend unless he tries to eat it.
"It's very well done," Seyfried added. "It's the best taxidermy in the world."
