Ashlee Simpson on the Rebound, Who's the New Dude?

With her wedding ring fresh off her finger, it looks like Ashlee Simpson's not wasting any time getting back into the dating game. Simpson announced her split from hubby of more than two years, Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, in early February and just a month later, has been caught lip locking with another guy.

So who is this mystery rebound rocker? At least we know Simpson has a type. According to E! Online, while shopping in LA, Simpson was spotted getting more than cozy with musician Craig Owens.

But will Simpson be getting some family flack for her new guy who's all about D.R.U.G.S.? Well, not exactly. Owens is the founder of the alternative rock band, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows (D.R.U.G.S.). We wonder if the group's bonus track, "A Little Kiss and Tell," from their debut album released just after Simpson and Wentz announced their split has anything to do with the newly single Simpson sister.

But Ashlee isn't the only one who's smitten with the new rocker in her life. Estranged hubby, Wentz, has nothing but accolades for Owens. According to E! Online, Owens is signed to Wentz's record label, Decaydance, and before their partnership went through early last year Wentz even tweeted, "@craigeryowens hey we will be partners in crime soon. come the middle of this month." Talk about a love triangle.

As Simpson and Wentz's custody battle for their 2-year-old son, Bronx, starts to heat up, we're holding our breadth to see if Wentz uses Simpson's speedy post-separation public canoodling to his advantage in the court room.
