David Arquette Refuses Pain Medicine After Car Crash

Recently out of rehab, David Arquette wasn't taking any chances.

The actor, 39, was sent to the hospital after he was hurt in a car accident Friday, then later Tweeted, "Refused all pain medication ? may the record state ? still sober!"

Arquette, whose vehicle reportedly collided head-on with another car on a Beverly Hills street, adds, "It was a miracle the woman I hit was uninjured ? Thank God."

He says he was on his way to the airport to travel to Las Vegas to help a friend open his restaurant, The Sugar Factory, when the accident occurred.

"so sad i'm going to miss it but glad to be alive for a rain check," he writes.
