Rapper Ja Rule is facing more prison time after pleading guilty to evading taxes on over $3 million in income.
Troubled rapper Ja Rule, who will begin a two-year sentence in jail on weapons charges in June, has pleaded guilty to tax evasion charges during his federal hearing today in New Jersey.
The income was reportedly earned between 2004 and 2006.
There were two additional charges against the rapper for unpaid taxes in 2007 and 2008 that were dropped as part of his plea deal.
Ja Rule, whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins, will be sentenced in June.� He faces up to a year in jail and $100,000 in fines for the tax evasion charges.
