You don?t ever want to experience what I did. Open my Twitter /ThecounTNews to find my friend count go from 25,000+ to 0.
At first I thought I had been hacked, a lot of thoughts went though my mind like how damn long would it take me to amass that amount of followers again. What are my Twitter friends thinking happened to me? Oh well, life has dealt me hard knocks in the past and I know how to get back in the saddle.
Then after a few page reloads I see this notice from Twitter saying that my account had been suspended. At this point I am feeling a bit better knowing I wasn?t hacked but now the dilemma, why in the world would Twitter suspend me? Take notice so this does not happen to you?
The reason Twitter suspended me was most likely because I used a website called tweepi.com to unfollow about 500 people.
Apparently this tweepi site is popular and I thought I was allowed to remove folks manually 40 at a time but I guess the Twitter algorithm confused me with something automated. It was not, they are wrong and my account will be restored, hopefully within a few days.
Until then I will appear to the world as if I made a major Twitter booboo, the dreaded suspended page showing up when people go to visit me. In the aftermath of this all I can do is ask you to heed my warning about this Tweepi website, you don?t want what happened to me to happened to you.
