James Corden is a celeb matchmaker
Frankie Sandford and Wayne Bridge would not be an item if it weren't for comedian James Corden.
The Gavin & Stacey star has revealed he introduced the couple.
'I got their phone numbers and I put each other's number in the phones,' explains James, 32.
'And I said: "I want this to work."'
The Saturdays star Frankie, 22, who split from McFly's Dougie Poynter in November, hooked up with footballer Wayne earlier this year.
She and the West Ham United player were first spotted together in January and James says seeing their date snaps was a proud moment.
'Two weeks later, they're in the paper,' he tells Sky1 show A League Of Their Own. 'And now they're dating.'�
