But this time Kirstie Alley was nowhere near the incident. In fact, it was front-runner Ralph Macchio's professional partner Karina Smirnoff who fell and fell hard, but it looked more like a wardrobe incident than a dancing error.
Macchio was sporting a long jacket with a flared bottom that cascaded across the floor when he got low, and it was this excess portion of his jacket that knocked Smirnoff off her feet.
To their credit, Macchio quickly helped her back to her feet and they regained their composure and continued the performance.
"Mr. Miyagi would be very proud of you for getting right back up and right into the dance," Carrie Ann Inaba said.
"I'm not gonna castigate you," Len Goodman told the pair. "I'm gonna congratulate you."
Unfortunately, the overall performance still gave the pair the lowest overall marks of the night. Now, it's up to their fans at home to prove they've forgiven this fall and vote in large enough numbers to keep them on the show.
