Lane vs. Portman

You probably heard about this story last month, but it hasn?t died yet! Sarah Lane, who was Natalie Portman?s dance and body double in the Oscar winning film ?Black Swan?, wants to let you know again, that Lane did 95% of the dancing for the film, and that the producers are trying to sway the story, making it out to be that ?Portman did the majority of the dancing?.

We covered this story last month, and we explained that dance doubles and other behind-the-scenes players involved in movie productions, simply get lost in the shadows of Hollywood, and the stars get the full spotlight and credits. Lane?s interview with 20/20 aired last night, and she sets the truth straight again, claiming that she did most of the dancing, and the producers did in fact call her and tried to silence her from speaking the truth!:
